Active Violence Immediate Response Training (AVIRT)

Active shooter incidents are unpredictable, and they can evolve rapidly. During the chaos, anyone involved can play a vital role in lessening the impact of an active shooter incident. Active Violence Immediate Response Training (AVIRT) prepares your team with active shooter training resources that help you and your organization understand warning signs and respond to a potential active shooter incident.

Active Violence Immediate Response Training (AVIRT) gives you the tools to understand how to recognize warning signs, react quickly in an active shooter situation, and learn how to control bleeding in life-threatening situations. AVIRT is active shooter response training with the addition of techniques on how to stop the bleed of victims.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

The Basic Life Support (BLS) program is for participants to gain or improve knowledge and skill proficiency in high-quality CPR skills and teamwork for the adult, child, and infant.  

Basic Life Support (BLS) reflects the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), and it conforms with the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the annual Guidelines Update. Continuing Education Hours Available: Emergency Medical Services (CAPCE) and Dental Professionals (AGD/PACE).

 

Community CPR/AED

Expect hands-on training at Outreach Education Services that builds confidence and prepares you for real-world scenarios. Our courses focus on practical application and skill enhancement. The goal of our Community CPR/AED training program is for participants to gain or improve knowledge and skill proficiency for adults, children and infants.

Wilderness First Aid

This comprehensive 18-hour wilderness first aid course meets or exceeds the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, 2017 Edition.
Wilderness First Aid Course Includes

Information-filled slide presentation covering wilderness and remote first aid from a basic understanding of emergency response in an outdoor setting to specific techniques and considerations for a wide range of injuries and illnesses.

This course provides optional CPR/AED Course.

Babysitter Safety & Infant CPR

The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The program teaches how to get started with a business, working with parents and children, and key safety, care-giving, and first aid tips. The magazine-format CABS guide and vlogger-style video make learning fun. Perfect For teens and young adults interested in a babysitting business, or who have responsibility for younger family members.

K9 CPR

This course is great for shelter staff, K9 Police Officers, SAR K9 Handlers or anyone who loves their pet like family.
